What kind of surfaces can a steel base go on?
Steel bases can be placed on any ground, even if it's soft thanks to it's adjustable legs. If you are not sure, please contact us with a picture of the location you are thinking of placing the base.
How long do steel bases last?
Our steel bases are covered in a protective coating that prevents against rusting for over 25 years
What kind of buildings can go on top of a steel base?
Our steel bases are suitable for sheds, summerhouses, potting sheds, wooden-floored greenhouses, metal sheds and plastic sheds.
Base self-levelling legs
Thanks to the design of our bases, the adjustable legs allow buildings to be levelled by simply adjusting leg length. This allows buildings to be installed on even challenging surfaces without the need for an expensive concrete base underneath.
Our newest generation of steel base now includes composite foot blocks made from the same material used at dock yards to rest shipping containers on, giving an even more secure footing.
Fast to Install
Our bases can be installed in approximately 1-hour for smaller sized bases and not much longer for larger sized bases, depending on the location. All bases are checked to make sure they are level and have wooden joices fixed above the base, giving the building more room to breath.
